English books for children and US related English books are in this corner.
All books in this corner are donated by Nagoya American Center,Consulate of the United States in Nagoya,to deepen mutual understanding and exchange between Japan and the US.
American statistical books and other refarence materials are also available.

Magazines: Newsweek(U.S.A.),Time(U.S.A.),The Economist(U.K.),Haubao(China),Korea Report(Korea),etc.

Various kinds of foreign language brochures and pamphlets published in Toyama are available here.
Tourism guides and maps, living guide, city manuals, and other useful information for foreign residents and visitors are also available.

Foreign Embassies in Japan publish hottest guides to foreign countries.
The latest foreign materials such as tourism guide from 108 countries in the world are available here.
Some of them are borrowable. Please feel free to ask at the checkout desk on the first floor.

- NOWPAP Materials
Those materials are donated by NOWPAP RCU Toyama Office of UNEP.
Most of them are environment-related materials written in English.

- Before you borrow books for the first time,you need to register as a user.
For the registration,please prepare official documents which you can prove your name and address.
You will have your library card as a proof of the user of our library.
- Please show your user's card at the checkout desk when you borrow the books.
- You can borrow up to 10 books at a time the loan period is 15days.

- After hours,return books to the book drop on the left to the entrance.

- You can renew books by telephone.
Please contact the library before the loan period expires.
If there is no one who wants to borrow the books,your loan period could be extended up to two weeks.
